Star Citizen is a PC only exploration, delivery, first person shooter, dog fighter space game which is totally immersive and has been in alpha phase since 2012, recently the 4.0 update went live. Taking inspiration from Chris Robert’s old school Wing Commander games from the 90’s and similar to Elite and EVE Online, this space game is due to go in to a full MMO in the coming years, with new patches hopefully coming every 3 months or so.

This is where it all started with Chris Roberts’ vision of a space simulator back in the early 90’s. Wing Commander came in four main games and some other expansion style games too all released on PC, Amiga and recently found on gog.com.
